Driving Sustainable Tourism in the Balkan Region
The Balkan Tourism Development Foundation (BTDF) is a non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting sustainable tourism development across the Balkan Peninsula. Our mission is to foster economic growth while preserving the rich cultural and natural heritage of the region.
Founded in 2025, we work closely with local communities, government agencies, official and private entities, institutions and international organizations, entities, institutions to implement projects that balance tourism development with environmental conservation and cultural preservation.
Our initiatives span across Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, and Slovenia.
